Hidden in the block

Keep the block inside the tray.

Put the block in the tray and clear enough table space for the tools and finished pieces.

Work from an edge with the chisel. Use light taps and stop when a piece becomes visible.

Switch to the brush around each find so the bead hole or stone edge is not forced.

Count all 11 pieces, wipe away loose dust, and move them to a clean area before making.

Scavenger-hunt round

Make the clues fit your own rooms.

The clue cards are blank enough to create a different route each time. One person hides the bracelet, necklace, ring, or loose charms and writes a chain of simple location clues.

Hide: choose safe, reachable places away from food, water, and stairs.

Write: put one location clue on each card and keep the wording short.

Start: hand over the first clue instead of pointing to the first hiding place.

Reset: collect the cards and change the route for another round.
